One morning at Singapore Airport

I had a small experience recently which I had thought of sharing it with everybody. I met an old man Verendra (60) at Singapore airport where I had to wait for 3 hours to catch my next  flight to Brisbane. He was moving thoughtlessly and he asked me gently whether I am an Indian. I said yes. So we started our conversation as we both had some time to catch our next flight. He had started talking about some general things, experiences in abroad etc. He has two kids, Elder one (working) in England and Younger one (working) in Auckland. He was returning from Auckland after spending a holiday with his younger son. I had a good conversation with him and I dint know how the time had passed. In the end I asked him why dint he take his wife along with him to Auckland. He said that his wife is with god now and she had left him 25 years back. He told normally that she had suffered from Tuberculosis and she had died due to lack of proper treatment. It was a love marriage. He endured that pain for 25 years. For one second tears had rolled out  from my eyes but somehow I gained by composure. He raised both of his sons all alone by himself and now he travelling abroad to meet his sons all alone. I learnt two things in my life after that conversation.
  •  Life is too short and we never know when our time will come to leave this world. Be with your loved ones as much as you can and show your love towards them all the time. Life is too short to develop anger, disappointment, misunderstanding or anything that ruins a relationship.
  • Don’t abandon your parents in their old age. No matter how many friends, relatives, loved ones you have, parents are the one who had sacrificed everything to get all the happiness in your life.  Being lonely is very hard, especially in old age.

Julian Assange – A Messenger or a Culprit.

Julian Assange, the person who has made a significant impact in the world of media in bringing out the most confidential information from the government of various nations. Now everyone is after him to slaughter for doing what he felt as “Freedom of Expression”. The explanation that is being given by the most of the diplomats is that his revealing of the governments classified activities is keeping the security of the most of the nations at stake. Does it seriously imply?  The work which has done by Mr.Assange so far may have developed hostility between nations but is it wise to conclude that he has been responsible for it. Mr.Assange has managed to obtain the most sensitive information, validated the authenticity of it and published. He maintained anonymity of the source of the information in order avoid risk, in turn he risked himself by serving himself in revealing the truth.  If we assume that Mr.Assange has never taken the initiative of bringing Wiki Leaks, does it establish peace and harmony? Instead we would never have the knowledge of activities of the government which had crossed its lines of ruling. Mr.Assange had surrendered himself for the crime which has been accused against him and now the government of London are even scared of giving him access to internet while he is in their custody. They had charged him for the case of sexual abduction which has not yet proved.

Let us look into one of the news leaked from Wiki Leaks.  Eg: The video footage obtained from the  Apache helicopter of the incident of firing by US Soldiers on the civilians at Bagdad, you will consider it more as genocide rather than war in Iraq. There should be some way to stop this kind of activities otherwise it will lead to a monarchy rule rather than a democracy. The unconventional way of bringing the facts before the common people has trembled the nations especially USA.

Funding to the Wiki Leaks has also been stopped by withdrawal of services from PayPal, Visa, and Master Card. Challenging the strongest nations against their acts which are not in interest of maintaining peace across the world is a robust task. Mr.Assange stood for it. If the news which he has brought is fabricated, then the respective authorities of the nation should take the responsibility in proving it, rather than adopting insignificant ways to stop him.

The verdict has not yet announced against the charges on him. My hope is that he should be acquitted unconditionally if he is truly not a culprit. The world needs a person like him, whose work had really made a difference in a good way.

Beginning of my blog.

I have been thinking for a quite a long time to start blogging, but I never had been serious enough to start with it. I finally discovered that in my busy professional life if I start searching for leisure time I will end up with my empty hands. So I finally thought of creating some time so that I can construct my personal interests productively; one of which is BLOGGING :) .
My purpose is just to have a isolated interface where in I can share my interests with everyone.
